Flo-Rite Mechanical is flourishing, and we're in search of an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our family and play an integral role in the growth of the HVAC Service department. You will have the opportunity to perform troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, installation, consultation, design, and estimation for a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical systems, matched to the unique needs of our customers.

Full-time
- Perform electrical and mechanical inspection and maintenance on equipment to ensure peak performance
- Perform preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing, and cleaning of equipment
- Install and connect HVAC equipment, including ductwork, pipes, and electrical wiring
- Leverage preventive maintenance and system operations experience to accurately diagnose and advise on service requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings covering layout, location, and operation of systems
- Report preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken
- Suggest additional services that are beneficial to customers
- Submit required paperwork to the Service Coordinator in a timely manner
- Ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 8+ years commercial HVAC field experience
- Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 training
- Required State of Texas licensing, or willingness to acquire
- Ability to work in diverse conditions, including mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, extreme weather, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing and working at elevated heights, and lifting items up to 50 lbs
- Familiar with Microsoft products and general computer skills
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Pass national criminal background check
- Current driver's license with clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications
- HVAC Trade School Program or certification
- EPA Certification

Shift & Schedule
Full time. Schedule varies, with overtime as needed.
